STEAL AWAY: The Visions of Nat Turner

Hey friends and comrades. I have a lot of new stuff in the works right now that I am really excited for. In the mean-time I have been updating my Etsy and I still have a few copies of the first printing of STEAL AWAY: The Visions of Nat Turner for sale.  Craig E. Ross

STEAL AWAY: The Visions of Nat Turner is a semi-wordless hand watercolored, woodcut comic based on "The Confessions of Nat Turner" by Thomas R. Gray. STEAL AWAY focuses on Turner’s visions leading up to the slave rebellion which accelerated the abolitionist movement in the US.

Following in the tradition of sequential printmakers such as Frans Masereel and Lynd Ward, this comic contains all 21 original, hand watercolored woodblock prints.
